As Adova Group is already highly committed to promoting sustainable development in-company with our Resources® Programme, becoming a mission-driven company seemed to be the next logical step for us. We embarked on this new milestone in November 2022, by including our mission (purpose and statutory goals) in our Articles of Association.
Nurture our craftsmanship
and reinvent ourselves
to ensure sustainable lifestyle comfort.
What exactly is a mission-driven company?
The term mission-driven company was created in France in 2019 through the PACTE Act (Action Plan for Business Growth and Transformation). This is a voluntary approach where a company decides to include a purpose and related goals in its articles of association.
A mission-driven company highlights the idea of “contributing to the common good” and how the company can be useful to society.
It is an inclusive, structuring approach for a company and for all its stakeholders. Here, at Adova, we consider mission-driven company to be about “footprint”, mark, impression.
The positive impression we wish to leave on our employees and on all our partners in a wider scope.
The indelible mark of long-lasting comfort that we wish to leave in our customer-user minds, through our know-how, craftsmanship and our products of incomparable quality.
The ecological footprint that we have to reduce as much as possible in our value chain.
Our purpose
“Nurture our craftsmanship and reinvent ourselves to ensure sustainable lifestyle comfort”.
Our know-how and craftsmanship are our driving force and a source of pride to us. Promoting this in the Group and ensuring they are passed on is essential to ensure the incomparable quality of our products thrives.
Our innovative spirit drives us to reinvent our business, our supplier and partner relationships as well as our production methods to ensure that everyone, employees and end users alike, can benefit from sustainable lifestyle comfort.
Our commitments
We have made three statutory commitments as a mission-driven company.
The reputation of our brands and our products in France and abroad is above all thanks to our employees who elevate the Group’s exclusive know-how and craftsmanship through our five production facilities in France.
Our priority is to ensure this know-how and craftsmanship thrives by highlighting them.
The ideas of togetherness and team-spirit are vital to ensuring our business project is successful.
We believe in group emulation where overall success is everyone’s success. As a responsible company, we chose to capitalize on teamwork, where employees, suppliers and customers breathe life into and nurture a positive, forward-looking attitude that boosts our social and environmental impact.
As an industrial group, our ecosystem is made up of tightly connected stakeholders: suppliers, customers, local communities. We believe in our ability to bring a new perspective to specific practices and to embrace more virtuous solutions together in our own business and in our sector as a whole.
This means dispensing with certain elements and also reconsidering our relationships with our suppliers.
Lifestyle comfort first and foremost concerns our employees and includes Group support to relieve the daily strain and workload in highly-arduous jobs.
Yet, it also concerns our consumer-users, for whom we advocate the right to comfort.
As an employer, we wish to forge real corporate culture by fixing long-term goals on an inclusive project. By becoming a Mission-driven Company, we help improve our employer brand by attracting talent, whilst continuing to be a source of inspiration and optimism for tomorrow’s economy. This also nourishes and structures our CSR roadmap.
Join us in this approach, this initiative, and let’s build a better future together.
To promote our know-how and craftsmanship and forge suitable conditions to ensure collective success.
To be a real catalyst for transforming practices to create more sustainable industry.

Verifiable commitments
To ensure the veracity of its commitments and the introduction of tangible actions to fulfil its mission, the French Pacte Act provides for the assessment of the company that declares itself as a Mission-driven Company by an ITO (Independent Third-party Organization). The audit takes place 18 months after this declaration has been included in company Articles of Association.
The company must also set up a dedicated Mission Committee that includes external parties so that the company’s roadmap and operational goals for carrying out its mission may be reviewed.
